The 155---s MDF baffle continues Atlantic---s use of non-resonant baffle material for in-wall speakers, resulting in far better acoustic performance than speakers that use ---ringy--- plastic or resonance-prone aluminum baffles or enclosures.
The speaker features switchable dipole/bipole mode: Use the dipole for diffuse-field surround sound, such as Dolby Tru HD or bipole mode for precise object-based surround formats such as Dolby Atmos. Either mode will fill a large home listening area with lifelike, dramatic surround effects.
